By accepting to book a trip with us, you are agreeing to be bound by the following clients’ terms of Service
Booking and Reservations
A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total trip price will confirm a commitment to travel with us. The balance of the fee is due 60 days prior to departure. We quote our fares in US Dollars, and must be paid in US Dollars. A portion of your package price includes a tax deductible for our membership with Nzuguto Environmental Conservation Association (NECA) and African Union of Conservationists (AUC) which is used to help fund the organisations’ many conservation education and awareness projects.
All taxes, service charges and VAT while at destinations are included
Trip cancellation and Refund Policy
When the traveler notifies us more than 45 days prior to the first day of any of our trips, 75% of the final payments will be refunded. With 30-45 days notice, one receives a 50% refund of the final payments of the trip. No refund can be made with less than 30 days notice. No partial refund can be given once a tour begins. We strongly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation insurance to protect your investment.
Itinerary cancellation and changes
Although we may do our best to adhere to the itinerary schedules, we reserve the right to cancel, change the program’s dates or delay the trip before departure for numerous reasons beyond our control if conditions warrant. This may be as a result of flight schedule changes or delays, bad weather, road or trail conditions, participants’ logistical issues, wars, local rebellions, health threats or sickness, government intervention, or any other circumstances which may make operation of the trip not recommended. In such cases, the right is reserved to substitute hotels, lodges or camps of similar category for those indicated. To the limit of our liability, the costs incurred may be refunded. The New Uganda Luxury Safari Company Ltd is however not responsible for any losses incurred by trip participants in preparing for the trip or during the tour, in cases of theft or loss of own equipment, Airline tickets, money, jewelries, special clothing, passport, or any other personal property.
Travel insurance
We strongly recommend that you consider a plan to help protect your trip investment. Travel insurance helps to cover; unexpected events prior to departure causing the need to cancel or change travel dates, harsh weather conditions or local rebellions or strikes causing interruption or changes to your itinerary, missed connections, delayed arrival time, lost or delayed baggage and medical or evacuation coverage.
Level of physical fitness and general health
To consider a trip with us, one should be reasonably in good health. A high level of physical fitness is required for trips that involve treks. In some acute situations, the guide or your tour leader reserves the right to disqualify any participant on tour at any time if the participant is physically incapable or poses a threat to the other group members or the wildlife around. No refund is guaranteed under such circumstances.
Limitations on Liability
The New Uganda Luxury Safari Company Ltd and its partners, agents or employees give notice that they act only as the agent for the owners, contractors, and suppliers providing tour and travel services that include transportation, guiding, accommodation bookings, or any other service related to tour and travel business and assume no responsibility whatsoever caused for loss, injury, or damage to any person or property in connection with any service resulting directly from natural causes, strikes, thefts, detention, annoyance, delays, expenses arising from quarantine, pilferage, failure of any means of conveyance to arrive or depart as scheduled, civil disturbances, terrorism, government restrictions or regulations and discrepancies or changes in transit or hotel services over which it has no control.
Upon confirming a trip with The New Uganda Luxury Safari Company Ltd, the participant acknowledges that he/she has read and understood the above terms and conditions of service, and agrees to be bound by them.
